Blinkwater Mills, a specialised industrial facility, required the installation of durable, quality wooden flooring for specific production and working areas within the multi-level structure. The flooring needed to withstand a high-traffic industrial environment, integrate smoothly with existing heavy steel structures, and provide a clean, sustainable, and easily maintained surface.

• Large-Scale Wood Flooring Supply & Installation We supplied and installed extensive wooden plank flooring across multiple levels of the large industrial building. The final product features a medium-toned, durable wood with natural variation and a high-sheen finish.

• Industrial Environment Integration The installation required meticulous fitting around structural components, steel support beams, and various mechanical ducts and heavy equipment common in a mill or processing facility.

• Durable Finish Application A hard-wearing, high-gloss clear sealant or varnish was applied to the finished floor, providing protection against the wear and tear of industrial use and simplifying cleaning procedures required for food-grade or clean-room standards.

• Structural Subfloor Work The project involved installing the wood planks directly onto or around the existing structural steel frame of the building, requiring technical expertise in adapting traditional wood flooring techniques to an industrial setting.
